Open the map in the EV Charge & Park app or website. It shows hosted chargers near you — tap any pin to see the rate, connector type and availability, then book a slot.

Just open the map and explore. Most EVs charge on a Type 2 (AC) connector — book a 2–4 hour slot for a routine top-up. Your car'smanual lists its connector type and maximum charging speed (kW).

Tap Sign up in the app or website. Enter your email and a password (or use Apple, Google or a passkey), verify the one-time code we email you, and you're in. No payment card is needed until you book.

Tap a charger pin on the map, choose a start time and duration, and confirm. Your card is pre-authorised (not charged yet) and the host is notified straight away.

Add a card to your profile once, and every booking is charged to it automatically when the session ends. You'll see a pre-authorisationhold when you book, and the final charge when you finish.

(Parking rate + charging rate) × booked hours, plus a small booking fee, plus 10% GST. The total shown at booking time is exactly what you pay - no surprises.

As an example, at a typical driveway charging A$3/hr parking + A$5/hr charging, a one-hour booking is about A$9 plus GST - roughly A$9.90 all-in.

Type 2 (AC) and CCS2 (DC) are the most common; some listings also offer CHAdeMO or Tesla. Every listing shows its connector on the map pin, so you can match it to your car.

Open your Bookings, tap the upcoming booking, and choose Cancel. Any refund you're owed is processed automatically.

Yes, based on timing: 100% if you cancel at least 24 hours before the start, 50% if 1–24 hours before, and none within the final hour.

Your name, vehicle type and connector, and the booking details. Your number plate is shared only if the listing requires it, and your phone number is hidden by default
